How Bucky Coe Writes songs

During Bucky Coe's gig at Lugz on Main St. (Vancouver,Canada) last night, Bucky shared with us the process of how he writes his songs. To hear more of his songs, you can check out his home page. My favourite song is "Mistakes and Victories".A special shout out to Meghan Engel. Her back up vocals and viola playing gave me delicious chills.

Dressers in the City

Vancouver has been overrun with bears, cows and eagles; now Fashion High is getting in on the action with the Dressers in the City campaign. Over the course of 10 days, dressers will pop up on some of the busiest street corners in Vancouver. They will be decorated by FH members, feature the Fashion High web address and the drawers will be filled with FH stickers and member business cards. It’s a fun and exciting way to publicize FH members.

This is the dresser that Keith Arbuthnot and I created for the "Dressers in the City" Media stunt. Keith is a visual artist and costumer in Vancouver and I feel fery lucky to have collaborated on this project that is promoting the local designers of Next Door Style.Last night the Next Door Style Dresser was placed outside of the Jacqueline Conoir show in China Town. I loved the city lights reflecting off the rainy streets reflecting off the dresser!
